draw.io for Notion is a Chrome extension designed to enable you to insert and edit draw.io diagrams and whiteboards directly into Notion pages.
After installing, pin the draw.io extension. When editing a Notion page, an option to insert a diagram is offered when clicking the extension icon.
After creating new diagrams, simply click on the diagram to start editing again.

Straight up doesn't work? Insert a diagram button does nothing. Downloading the suggested SVG does not work. No editor ever appears, even if manually adding an svg or png with the embedded diagram. I've used an inline draw.io editing tool in Confluence before and it's great. Makes draw.io so useful for quick fixes in docs. I would easily give this 5 stars if this Chrome plugin had the same effect in Notion. But sadly it simply doesn't work for me.
Needs work. I can't seem to import existing drawings, and making a new one takes over the page in a weird way. The idea is great, but it's not super useful to me.
I wish it keeps the settings, I know this extension is a temporary solution till notion implements native drawing feature. Thanks anyway.
All that's left is to add the tool to Notion Desktop.
It adds a diagram, I can edit it, but when I finish editing, the black circle slides for a couple of moments and then I have an error "This image couldn't be found. www.notion.so (Error 404)"

Can't change it's size.
Completely broken in 2024, got it to work once and thank god I saved my work right before it decided to just completely wipe itself clean after I reloaded the page. Unreliable, which is sad because I really want this product to work
the best tool for notion . use a empty svg file and the plugin can make you edit it in notion page!
I've got it to work but only when I saved the file as a share in a shared folder in Google Drive. I wish it felt more seamless but it's working.
