View New York Times articles in Newswire using your own browser session.

Newswire is a reading and analysis tool for news. The Newswire Connector for The New York Times links your NYT browser session to Newswire so articles can be captured and displayed there.

The connector works when you choose to connect it. After you click “Connect to Newswire,” it captures NYT article pages directly from your browser and sends them securely to Newswire. This allows Newswire to display articles using your own NYT subscription, without shared accounts or server-side scraping.

The connector runs only on nytimes.com and getnewswire.net, and only when you explicitly request a connection or snapshot. Nothing runs automatically in the background.

If you encounter issues with the connector, support is provided through Newswire rather than the Chrome Web Store.
