This is a wonderful extension. As someone who is nearly deaf with an Osia Cochlear implant, I find this app invaluable. I live alone and don't use my implant all the time because the batteries are expensive. Since I'm disabled with an incredibly painful back, there's little for me to do all day but lie in bed and watch TV. My laptop is far more versatile than my smart TV, with greater capabilities, excellent HD resolution, and a wider field of view. I have amazing Bluetooth loudspeakers attached, and with this app, I can hear the shows satisfyingly well. I’ve never had that experience before without using expensive surround sound equipment, which I have, but using "Equalizer for Chrome browser" is so much more effortless. This app has simple and intuitive settings that are perfect for getting the frequencies and volume I need to enjoy my shows. While other extensions can do the same, none are as easy, simple, and free of annoyances as this one. It only requires a single click when I switch to a different streaming service, and I’ve never been bothered by pop-ups, advertising, or glitches. It comes with 21 great presets and an excellent volume boost, making it easy to use without constantly moving sliders up and down—though you can if you want. It has the smallest footprint of all my extensions, is free, has no ads, and requires very few permissions. It’s so easy, intuitive, non-annoying, and practically effortless that I am very appreciative. So, yes, I give it my extremely rare "11 thumbs up!" If you like being able to control what you hear, you won't find a better or easier extension, or app, for that matter. It just leaves you alone, requiring little more than a single click to your favorite preset.
