If the pixel helper is NOT working on your system, please check the preferred languages settings in Chrome. Navigate to Language section in Chrome setting and move English to the top in the "Order languages based on your preference". This should resolve the extension issue.

Same errors as others when using to set up conversion events. Recommend bypassing and using Page URL Tracking method for each event. Use a landing page URL keyword for Page View, and "Thank_You" tracking for purchase tracking. Apparently you cannot track "checkout" using Page URL. There are some workarounds on the TikTok FAQ.
