This idea is an incredibly good one. I have earned over 50 pounds in tokens. It's still in the early stages but they improve the extension all the time! Can't wait to see all the new stuff they've promised to add in January

Definitely worth installing, early days were tough with most websites I visit not being affected and still showing regular non-Gener8 ads (no tokens earned on those) and the marketplace was sold out pretty much all the time. Now though, I get Gener8 ads on every website I visit that would usually have non-Gener8 ads, I'm receiving tokens at a much faster rate too with Gener8 Tabs as each opened tab contains 2 ads for me. The marketplace has definitely improved too, the variation of items they sell hasn't changed but it seems like the quantity of items they have in stock has increased a bit (with them planning to increase the quantity even MORE in Jan 2020 along with adding more variation, including a cash out option, throughout the next year).

It's a great concept but at the moment it significantly slows page loads on practically every news/article based website and there is the whole vision around earning the credit and buying things with it, but the 'marketplace' empties within about .2 seconds every time it refreshes. I've spoken to the team about this twice now and it's just a pointless exercise using this app to earn a currency you can't actually spend. They get all the benefits of collecting your usage data and tracking data whilst actually giving nothing back in return. At least they advertise as if they do, but if you personally want to get anything out of this system or marketplace other than slower webpages and the odd picture of a Pug, you'll be completely out of luck.
