No more hunting for the actual recipe when you visit a long-winded food blog!

You can turn it off for specific sites if you find it's not needed and edit the blacklist under "Options" when you right-click the green Recipe Filter icon in your toolbar.

Detects recipe content on any web page and displays it in a highlighted popup at the top of the page, extracting recipes from common recipe markup formats.

Food blogs often bury the actual recipe within lengthy narrative content, making users scroll through personal stories and ads. This extension automatically surfaces the recipe immediately.

User visits any recipe page → content script runs on all HTTP/HTTPS pages → extension checks if hostname is blacklisted → if not, iterates through recipe CSS selectors → when a recipe element is found, it is cloned and prepended to the page body as a highlighted popup with close/disable controls.

The extension is very small (7 files, ~3KB main script) with minimal complexity, giving high confidence in the analysis.
