Lets you set browser keyboard shortcuts containing Ctrl and Alt keys (Ctrl+S, Ctrl+P, Ctrl+Shift+C, etc.) to do nothing. Just head on over to chrome://extensions/shortcuts and assign away! Small, simple, and requires no permissions.

Great! This is exactly what I've been looking for! the only issue is I need to be able to disable all shortcuts (all letter and number keys) and there aren't enough slots for me to able to do so.
Wow this is great! Thank you thank you thank you. Now in emacs when my fingers type control-N nothing happens... which is one thousand percent better than having six new browser windows appear and needing to kill them all manually and train to reach for arrow keys. Next step, provide a passthrough option so the control-N can be seen by the emacs? Is it easy? THANKS AGAIN
Perfect! I needed to disable CMD-D (new bookmark) because I hit it when I'm aiming for CMD-F (and bookmark collections are just so 1990s). I also disabled CMD-M (minimize) because it's so annoying when my window just vanishes.
Only just started using this so this is a short term review, but what issue this extension solves is my difficulty with "CTRL+R". While navigating pages, I often check the links before posting them, so I use "CTRL+T" to open a new tab, before pasting the link. That being said, as the T and R are just one letter off, once every couple of weeks I'll reload my current page instead of opening a new tab. This can mean a loss of a few seconds to dozens of minutes of work. This saved me a lot of frustration, and I appreciate that it doesn't require any permissions. Thanks Developer!
Didn't work
This is exactly what I needed to stop interrupting my workflow! I turned RoamResearch.com into a web app using Chrome which was great, but since it looks like an app now I kept trying to save my work by pressing Cmd + S, just out of habit. I kept being pulled out of what I was by doing in order to exit out of Chrome's Save popup box, but this extension lets me disable that interruption. Thanks!
Does exactly what it says: blocks alt+* and ctrl+* shortcuts. Except I'm trying to find a way to disable that annoying "f1" key for help. Would it be possible for you to include that in the next update? Thanks!
installed the plugin using GPO but I find no way to apply the configuration to the other users and manage them. Is there a way?
Does not support disabling of F keys
Fantastic, quick and dirty fix for a 'feature' of Chrome that has caused me many hours of lost work (Ctrl+W and Ctrl+Shift+W). Thank you!
