For a few weeks now Chrome was freezing and lagging and crashing aggressively on certain websites, and specific functionalities were barely usable. This extension helped me isolate the issue and fix it, highly recommend it!
Thanks for this great extension !!! Youtube recently stopped playing all videos in my Brave Browser. I have a ton of extensions and dreaded the task of finding the guilty culprit. After install I turned all extensions off in a second. BOOM, Youtube video is now playing in Brave. OK, but lets find the guilty party. I started isolation mode and it quickly zeroed in on the troublemaker. uBlock Origin 1.58.0. I disabled that one and Youtube is back to normal. Don't hesitate, download this extension to make your life a lot easier.
Great extension, minimal size! Isolation mode is a great idea! One minor note on how it could be improved: When starting to perform the search, use only the extensions already currently enabled. For e.g. - I have a lot of extensions that I only need sporadically, so I leave them disabled; However when I try to use Isolation mode here, it enables half of everything anyway, and I get 10 new tabs poping out (extensions options, first-install page, etc), and some "new permissions" requests for extensions that have been updated in the meantime I had them installed but disabled.
amazing it has also has Whitelist option =) all the best 10xxx 🇰🇼
retarded extension
Works flawlessly. I can easily find the extension that's causing problems when following the Isolation Mode steps, and even when I just quickly need the extensions gone for a single website or compatibility test, it toggles everything in the touch of a button. If you're having issues, just take a minute to troubleshoot correctly and everyone can do it. A+ work, thank you very much!
good
This my preferred extension, when compared to similar ones. One suggestion: please keep developing the Isolation Mode feature. As more browser extensions are dumped into the marketplaces, Isolation Mode proportionately increases in value.
Mostly works brilliantly, and is very easy to use, if only you are careful. But be aware that if you disable extensions with this, and you have Chrome synchronization turned on, it immediately disables extensions on all other synchronized computers too. And from the other computers, you cannot re-enable them again by clicking the button – you can only do that on the computer on which you disabled them. So you can be in a situation where you cannot reactivate your extensions for a while, for instance when you are out travelling with your laptop but disabled extensions from your home computer and forgot to enable them again. In that case your only choice on the laptop is to enable each extension by hand – and then you have to be able to remember which extensions you have normally enabled. This takes away one star. Also, the "Isolate extensions" mode is severely broken. The effect it had for me was that it disabled all extensions but enabled some that I had disabled (!). And there was no way to get back to my large normal set of enabled extensions before using the disastrous "Isolate extensions" mode. So stay away from that mode if you don't want to lose your current set of enabled extensions. This takes away another star.
Very useful, thank you
