Lets you rename the title of the any tab. Very handy when you feel your tab title need more descriptive or personalized names.

Also, the title sticks to the tab even if you navigate to a different page within the same tab!

Note: This may not work on websites (Ex: chrome webstore, facebook etc) which do not get affected by this tab title change.

This delivers EXACTLY what it advertises: a minimalistic tool to organize your tabs. It's temporary by design: it renames your tab titles for the CURRENT session ONLY. Once you close or reload, it's gone. After adding to Chrome, you just need to refresh your tabs once after installation. Pin it for easy access, click it, enter the new title and hit Rename. Lightweight, non-intrusive, no special permissions required. Highly recommended.

Hij werkt alleen als je in het tab geen knoppen aanklikt, als je b.v. op de site van Wehkamp een nieuw product opzoekt verdwijnt de tabnaam alweer

Does what I want it to. Renames tabs while I have them open. I don't need them saved for future as others do, just needs to be named until I close it, so I can easily tell them apart from other tabs.

There was no rename option when right clicking a tab, but the input box appears when clicking through the extension icon manually. That said, it seems to not work as of now. Every time I try to rename a tab, it returns an error message saying to please try again. Tried with multiple different tabs—both internet tabs and local file tabs—and restarted chrome, but to no effect. Unfortunate.

Fonctionne très bien c'est juste que au début pour moi sa dit (Error: refresh the tab and try again) Mais quand je fait sa je n'est même pas besoin de try again car sa a rename quand même

The names only persist so long as chrome is open. As soon as you close the browser and reopen it, the names change back to default which renders the app useless imo.

One of the best extensions I tried to rename a tab. The name is saved after pressing F5. And when you open several tabs with the same url the new name stays only on the original tab (I need it for development)
