Been using the 1min.AI Chrome extension for a couple of weeks now, and honestly? Not bad at all. I’ve mainly been using it to skim through long articles—stuff I should probably read properly but haven’t got the time (or energy, if I’m honest). It also helps tidy up my emails when I’m sounding too stiff or rambling. What I like most is it just sits in the browser—no mucking about with new tabs or logging into different platforms. Click, done. Also handy that you can switch between a few AI models—GPT, Claude, Gemini, that sort—though half the time I forget which one I’m using. Still works, so can’t complain too much. Now, about the credits... still not totally sure how they work. One day I’ve got loads, next day it’s like, “You’re out!” and I’ve no clue what I did. Doesn’t help that there’s no clear breakdown—bit annoying, that. Would be good if they spelled it out more plainly. Tried it on a messy PDF once—didn’t go great. I mean, fair play, it was a dodgy scan. But yeah, not flawless. All said, it’s a proper handy tool if you’re juggling loads of reading or writing. Just don’t go in thinking it’s magic. Keep an eye on your tokens, and maybe don’t rely on it for everything. But for what it is? Solid 4 stars from me.
