After installation, any previously opened YouTube page must be reloaded.
This extension allows the user to translate YouTube comments with the click of a single button right next to the header of the comment. This is useful, i.e. when listening to music from other countries. The sourcecode is openly available on GitHub.

Literally has no button next to comments to translate??? The hell am i supposed to do to get it to pop up
Thank you so much. Upon checking on Chrome Extension Store, this is the reliable translator for Youtube and it is working.
Update 2024-02-02: App has been updated and is now working again. Thank you. Great work. Excellent app, simple and effective. Developer pleasantly responsive via github. [2024-01-05] Loved this but it's broken, has been for a while. Translate button doesn't show when you're logged in, only shows when signed out of YouTube.

全く使用できません 導入したての頃は使えましたが、アップデートのせいか全く使い物にならなくなりました。
try reinstalling if it doesn't work
めちゃくちゃ便利です。ボタンを押すだけなので原語<->日本語をぽちぽち切り替えて 勉強するのにも使えます 設定画面が最初意味分からなかったので解説サイトを見ました

Doesn't work on first attempt like other reivews have mentioned. Uninstalled, reinstalled and it works, i can see the "translate" button. By the way, why has youtube stopped offering translate besides the comments?
