doesn't work. after a few pages, glitches out and won't continue. reset does 0. the reader can't be undocked, and just disappears with any click. it's a pain, not worth the time or trouble.

It's the best free TTS I can find. You just have to paste your text into an online google doc (just type docs.new into chrome) and open the extension. It does something annoying though. Text pasted from documents I want it to read contain commas, and often these commas are interpreted as full stops. So the speaker ends the sentence at the comma, and re-starts the rest of the sentence as a new sentence. This sounds all wrong. If it would correctly speak through the commas, it would be much better. As it is working, it highlights in blue what it's reading. Often, it only highlights up to a comma, so it will end the sentence there. Then it highlights the rest of the sentence from the comma and speaks that. The result is difficult to listen to, and you have to just accept it and try to listen through it and keep track of the content it's telling you. Extra processing for the brain that's not wanted. Other than that, it's the lady from Google Maps. She's got a great voice compared with the robotic free ones elsewhere, and there is no time limit on her. Very useful extension, helping me by listening to my course content while reading it.
