BlockTube gives you the control to customize your YouTube viewing experience. It allows you to block specific channels and videos that you don't wish to see or get recommended with.

The extension is lightweight and fast, integrated seamlessly and does not affect your browsing experience at all, to an extent that an unsuspecting user will never know it's there to begin with.

It works like it should. After manually copying channel names and video title keywords from my last extension, it blocks everything on every page. FYI: In the options screen, to add channels and stuff, separate them by line, not by comma. Update: It does not block playlists from blocked channels or keywords.

A hell of a lot better than most other video blocking/filtering extensions out there, and doesn't make youtube pages take a long time to load like the last video filtering extension I was using. Only thing I'd say is that the Options UI needs work though you already have noted such a thing will come at some point.
