Image Downloader for IW is a lite addon that lets you easily download desired images from the Instagram website.

Simply add the add-on to your browser and open the Instagram page. Once the add-on is active (the toolbar icon is dark grey) you will see a download icon next to any image (on the top left corner side). Please click on the icon to download the image to your machine. Please note that the download location is the default location for download in your browser. This add-on tries to capture and download the highest-resolution image to your machine.

To report bugs, please fill out the bug report form on the add-on's homepage (https://mybrowseraddon.com/image-downloader-for-instagram.html).

Love it!. I works fine with newest and oldest versions of Chrome. I'd give it 5 stars if it also downloaded Stories. Many thanks, developer!.

It does the job, but it would be very usefull to have the option to add the username in front of the filename

I loved this extension but it's not working properly anymore. Maybe it was an update to the extension, chrome, or instagram website? Now when I access instagram website with the extension enabled, the formatting is very weird (the whole site is left aligned). Stories don't work at all - when I try to open a story it just shows a blank white page.

Works as expected and very helpful. Would love to see file naming options in a future versions. {ProfileName}-{Date}.jpg would be ideal (for me).
