This extension reduces or increases the screen brightness level for both daytime and nighttime periods based on user-defined values. It helps the websites that do not support the native dark theme. Also, it can increase the brightness of websites that are too dark. It reduces the eyestrain while reading documents online when dark mode is not supported. The extension offers two different values for daytime and nighttime duration to enhance usability.

Features:

1. Control the darkness level of all websites or just a single hostname

2. You can increase or decrease the brightness level of a website

3. Supports keyboard shortcuts for every action.

4. You can disable the extension on a single website or entirely

I have sensitive eyes. I keep my screen brightness at Min and have Night Light to 'warmest' and have Dark Mode enabled and still the screen is too bright for me at night. This extension does exactly what I need : it applies an extra filter over the browser's pages and darkens it as much as I want - down to barely visible if needed. Perfect. One complaint is there are no adjustment buttons on the browser, I need to click on the extensions icon, then click on the extension itself and only then I get the adjustment for the extension. Oh and the extension doesn't work on the Google Store site - how messed up this Google platform can be

Having 2 separate bars (daytime/nightime) is super annoying. There's no 1 single control. Most importantly, the brightness doesn't apply to fullscreen videos.

Works like it's suppossed to for the most part, but recently it stopped dimming full pages and only dims certain parts of the page I'm looking at. I open up google drive and it now only dims the square sections for the document previews instead of the whole page. And it also stops working when I full screen videos. It's great to use other than those two issues and I've had this extension for a while now.

Since around last month it started using alot of CPU randomly. I have to turn it off and turn back on. And then it works normal again.
