Checking US visa slot availability has been a hurdle to 10 millions visa applicants every year for multiple reasons

1. Lack of slots availability

2. Locking out for 72 hours if the portal *thinks* the user is a bot

3. Do not show the availability of the slots for 24 hours after 3-5 checks or refreshes

Worth the cost! We were able to book slot after years of waiting :) This app immediately notified as when appointments were made available by CGI. Really well made app!

I was able to book appointment after taking the premium subscription(E-mail alerts) with in a week. Your active contribution is needed to get alerts at right time.

This extension actually works. Signed up one week ago (for the email alerts) and I regularly checked the CGI portal for slots. Because of the email alert I was able to book slots for me and my wife. If they get more users we can weed out the illegal agents. Don't forget that your active contribution is needed for you to get alerts at proper time. Good luck with your slot search.

CheckVisaSlots does an amazing job of keeping you updated on the visa slots availability. The Chrome and Safari extensions are unobtrusive and very easy to use. I was impressed with the functionality and decided to also get the paid subscription for a 45 day period, which was worth every penny because I was able to quickly get an alert in time to book an appointment. Their ranking algorithm for the alerts also seemed fair in the sense that it ensures the crowd-sourced nature of the app.

Great thought, initiative and seamless system at need of the hour. This really bypass agents who are abusing the system. Support is excellent in responding on time and resolving the issue. Already recommended to few in my circle :) When I discussed with support team, requested them to add alerts to mobile apart from email. I understand the challenges but hope we will be able to find a solution.
