I loved the original app but they've removed most of the search functions and this is basically a skeleton of what it used to be. So sad. The new version is so basic and doesn't offer what it used to. Disappointing. Please update and correct the extension!

As many others have pointed out, the search function in the app has completely disappeared. Furthermore, the app's extension fails to accurately represent my current Bitmoji. It noticeably differs in terms of facial features, clothing, and other details. I'm not sure where this new Bitmoji is coming from, but it certainly doesn't reflect my bitmoji on Snapchat like it mirrored earlier

Really want to have customized text function back. It was sooooo helpful for teachers to engage with students. Like "Go to page 22" etc. would really love to have that function back.

I mimic what everyone is saying of late. What happened to the search functionality/flexibility? I use it daily both via google chrome extension and the mobile app platform. Something definitely changed, and particularly with the extension. I'm sick of seeing that spilled ice cream cone for things that i used to search in the past and dozens of options would be returned for possible bitmojis. Someone from Snap Inc. needs to chime in here and explain what changed and/or (now that they're aware of customer dissatisfaction), put a patch through to fix the issue. Please!

I used to love bitmoji and used it everyday in my role as a teacher to engage with my students, especially those working online. As others have commented, it no longer has search functionality nor text generation, nor is it working in gmail. Disappointed doesn't begin to describe how I feel... and I can't generate a bitmoji to show you!!

Very disappointed you stopped allowing users to customize their bitmojis. I send out emails everyday, or at least til recently, that truly expressed my current mood with a costumized mini me. Hopefully I can find a suitable replacement.

I'm not sure what they changed, but the functionality is gone. Many of the common Bitmojis I use are missing and it's not generating new ones based on search input anymore. 😭😭😭 I use Bitmoji several times a day - or at least I did...
