Always keep a backup of your secrets in a safe location.
Encrypting your secrets is strongly recommended, especially if you are logged into a Google account.

I used github to link this extension and this DIDN'T warn me about the dangers/hurdles of losing 2FA credentials until it was too late! After troubleshooting and finding out, it turns out wiping my drive did more harm than it was worth because now my github account is bricked from using this app!! Not happy. Also this app is no longer maintained.

Doesn't sync or save your codes when you accidently remove the extension from chrome.

It works well...when it wants to, which isn't often enough.
Now my account is locked. I kept copying it for many times but it was invalid

スマホ版のAuthenticator(Google提供)からエクスポートしたQRコードをインポートできるので、PCを使っているときにイチイチスマホを開かなくてよくなりました。便利！ ただ、インポート時にスマホのスクショを読み込むのに工夫が必要で; ①ChromeにスクショをD&Dして表示、開発者ツールからデータURI得る ②適当なウェブサイトのimgタグのsrc要素にデータURIを入れてスクショを表示させる ③拡張機能側から選択 という手順を踏みました。Google Drive等にスクショを保存して開くとかでもいいとは思います。 多分、拡張機能がローカルファイルを参照できない制限(Chrome仕様)が悪いと思います。
