Excellent tool. I use it almost every day. Its only flaw (mind you, it's so good that even with this flaw, it still deserves ★★★★★) is that it is coded so that you can't sample colors from file:// URLs. Consequently, I use a locally-modified version that removes this restriction. I'm not sure why the author prevents sampling on local files, especially since there's a checkbox on the extensions screen that allows users to decide this for themselves. I have had to disable auto-updating for this extension, because updates break my fix :-/.
Very easy to use, thanks!
Nice Addon For UI Devoloper
c'est trop pratique , surtout pour les designeurs ;)
useful nice app!
Only picks colors from HTML elements, does not pick colors from Images, which is what I use color pickers for about 99% of the time; for example: from a logo, or an image I am color matching. Other chrome extensions do this, and I recommend them. Aside: To get a background or text color I just use the inspector... duh.
It's great, but I wish I could hover over colours with the color-picker and have the HSL displayed instead of (or even in addition to) the RGB values.
great for using in my web dev school to work on projects where i need to quickly copy/paste the color i find on a webpage
good job
