Enhance your YouTube experience with the Rewind & Fast Forward Chrome extension. This tool adds dedicated buttons for rewinding and fast-forwarding videos.
Features:
1. Customizable Time Skips — Choose the skip duration for each button individually, with up to four customizable buttons.
2. Arrow Key Override — Choose whether to synchronize the Left and Right arrow keys with your configured skip durations. (Default: No override)
3. Media Key Integration — Map your keyboard's media keys (Previous/Next track) to use the same skip durations as the extension buttons.

Absolutely fantastic!
Excellent, thank you. If I have one wish about it it would be to be able to change the colors of the buttons on a temporary basis. Sometimes if the background is light I can't quite make out where the buttons are.
Buttons are still misaligned in cinema mode and fullscreen since the YouTube update. Otherwise good extension.

I use this ALL the time. Forgot it was an extension it blends so well.
A very useful & reliable extension, especially with the new & enhanced features (love the customisable 4 buttton option particularly). Have had the extension for ages & use it on most videos. Great for fast forwarding through familiar channel intros & ads. Can't wait to what further improvements you come up with. (A simple page refresh brings back vanished buttons for those who have that very occasional issue arise - see comments below)
A great extension, very useful. Would have given 5 stars except: 1) I would like to have the option to remove the mouseover pop up text (go back..../go forward....). It's not needed and sometimes gets in the way of subtitles. 2) Stylistically, it would be more logical and look better to have single arrows for 5 secs (like it used to be) and double arrows for 10 secs.
Please adjust the alignment according to the new UI, and I suggest adding icons similar to YouTube to align with the YouTube UI.
