Enhance your YouTube experience with the Rewind & Fast Forward Chrome extension. This tool adds dedicated buttons for rewinding and fast-forwarding videos.
Features:
1. Customizable Time Skips — Choose the skip duration for each button individually, with up to four customizable buttons.
2. Arrow Key Override — Choose whether to synchronize the Left and Right arrow keys with your configured skip durations. (Default: No override)
3. Media Key Integration — Map your keyboard's media keys (Previous/Next track) to use the same skip durations as the extension buttons.

Thank you, I don't have to wait 5 seconds to repeat, now it's only 2 seconds, very time-saving.
Why don't the Rewind Button work?
Works great, when it works... which is about 1/3 of the time. I'll open one link and it has the buttons. Open a couple more, no buttons. Open the 4th, and it has the buttons. Completely random as to whether it will work or not. Reloading the page and/or disabling the extension has no effect. Would be 5 stars if it worked more consistently.
Due to a change in the UI on the YouTube playback page, there is a misalignment in the button icons in the control area. Please fix this.

Why does it need browsing history access ??
Buttons only appear if you open the options page and then click save and close. You have to do this for every video.
