Now I don't have to deal with all of YouTube's distracting nonsense. I can avoid all recommendations, channel home pages, and likes/dislikes (on the video page, anyways). I really appreciate it.
Many ways to fix youtube and better your experience
One of the best extensions for Youtube. Really I loved it. I'll use it for very very long times :)
I tested many (if not all) youtube plugins. This one really works best. Magic annoyed me after a while with openeing tabs and self advertising and than I looked for another addon and finaly took this one. I'm more than happy with this one.
I watch most vids at 1.5X speed so I set it at 1.5X by default using Improve YouTube. The only problem is that if you want to alter the speed for individual videos from, say, 1.5X you have to first change it to a lower speed such as 0.75X and then choose the speed you want. The other issue is that whilst the default is set to, say, 1.5X, it will indicate that it's playing at normal (i.e. 1.0X) speed. Rather counter-intuitive if you ask me. Because of all the mucking around, it's actually easier to not use this feature at all even if you watch 90% of vids at a different speed and only need to change it 10% of the time. Any chance of tweaking the feature to make it work properly? Other than that, I love it.
Perfect, thanks you so much, every thing I wanted for using youtube as I like... also very helpful because I could hack a little bit my very old single core atom netbook and watching fluid with h.264, thanks you for real... any advice what setting to use beyond h.264 for making my netbook even more fluid is welcome... best regards...
Bit buggy sometimes (notably the "hide live chat" feature) but other than that it's absolutely amazing. Would recommend.
