OpenDyslexic is a free, open-source font designed to make reading easier for people with dyslexia. This extension replaces all fonts on web pages with the OpenDyslexic font, making content more readable and accessible.
Sometimes letters can feel jumbled or rotated, making reading frustrating. OpenDyslexic tackles this by giving each letter a heavier bottom, creating a "gravity" effect that helps keep them steady and grounded. This unique design makes it easier to recognize letters and read smoothly.
The distinct shapes of the letters also reduce confusion and swapping, so you can focus on reading without the struggle.

Instant eyeball relief as soon as I installed and toggled it on. This is a great resource for dyslexic readers and writers alike.
Great add on I just need to be able to adjust the color from grey to another color around the highlighted areas. Great add on 10 out of 10.
Insegno lingue alla scuola secondaria di I grado e sto testando questa estensione a scuola con i miei alunni. Al momento la trovo ottima: facile da installare sui computer della scuola - e questo non è poco - e rapidissima da attivare e disattivare, nel caso in cui i colleghi non la volessero. Aspetto di raccogliere anche il feedback degli studenti, ma per ora sono molto soddisfatta.
I love having this Typeface on my computer, I just wish Google docs didnt get messed up when i have it on. you would think with all of the different fonts google docs has it would include this one.
I figured out what was happening. I had to restart my browser and then turn the extension back on. I don't know why I didn't think of that at first but it is working 100% now and it's awesome.
I love this addon btu right now it's not working, so am pretty ticked off. :( Please fix it.
A special education teacher asked for some help because the film sheets used on computers for students that are dyslexic was lost. I found this and shared it with teacher and counselor. The students are doing great and we didn't need to find the lost sheets. It is so helpful. I will be sharing this extension at a Conference this month.
It would be a great move by Google if they were to help the chromium team integrate dyslexia support features like OpenDyslexic Font into chrome as a first-class accessibility citizen. Many people have trouble with standard fonts, and this font makes reading so much easier and less tiring. Dealing with edge cases to make it integrate smoothly would be ace.
