TrafficLight is taking the security-while-browsing concept where it belongs: in the browser. This extension will add a strong layer of security over your browsing experience without inducing speed penalties or system resource consumption. Part of the processing is done in the cloud with some intelligent small engines that make various checks on pages you're visiting enabling you to have top notch antiphishing and antimalware protection.

Features:

Real Time: TrafficLight scans the pages you visit for malware and phishing attempts, malvertising and other on-line threats each and every time you access them to avoid the threat of legitimate but recently compromised websites.

Precise: TrafficLight won't block an entire website if just some pages within are malicious. Only the potentially harmful elements are blocked, leaving you free to view the rest of the site if you so choose.

Unintrusive: TrafficLight does not add a toolbar to your already-cluttered browser interface. Its interface remains invisible until your input is needed or it's called up with a simple mouse gesture.

Search Results: TrafficLight flags malware and fraudulent websites in search results.

muy buena extencion aunque puede ser mejorada en el sentido de privacida, se le escapa un par de cookies pero lo que es en el bloqueo de paginas maliciosas o de malware es muy buena

I tested some malicious sites with know viruses and this site didn't indicate any warning or not even doing anything at all. Just an accessory extension that doesn't work.

Adds "Share this page" social media spam to the right-click context menu, no way to remove it short of re-coding the files. CPU hog, false positives, poor perfomance...bleh!

TrafficLight gives false results. Not sure if they're just not updating their database very often, but I have stumbled on websites where there are no virus or malware what so ever, but TrafficLight gives red alert. So relying on this extension can be scary if a website just got infected and it doesn't show up on the extension. They should have alternatives where you can report websites for review let's say if they've been blacklisted. Or if trafficlight shows green but the website just became very risky. I like the concept of this extension, but do not fully rely on it. Use it on your own risk.
