📌 What is the Process Feedback extension?
The Process Feedback extension is for teachers and students. It pulls the edit history of a Google Docs document and turns that history into a writing process report.
In the process report, you can explore copy-paste events, the frequency and timing of breaks taken, typing fluency, time spent on each paragraph, time allocated to revision compared to initial drafting, and total typing time.
✨ Key Features:
➛ Support for multiple tabs
➛ Shows user contributions

Hasta el momento, me parece una buena herramienta para verificar la autoría e integridad académica de los trabajos de los estudiantes.
This is awesome in assisting a teacher with process. I can see key strokes, and can help students edit. I love it.
This tool is invaluable in a school setting - being able to see what students are doing with their work is a game changer.
The graphs are overwhelming until you sit down and learn what they are measuring. Even auto-typer patterns can be seen once you are proficient. Fantastic tool to find evidence of real process writing.
Just getting started with Process Feedback and am so grateful to have it. I am struggling to stem the tide of AI in my classroom, as are all teachers, and PF makes the process so much simpler. Thank you!
Amazing for checking assigned group work. It easily shows what percentage of the work each partner has contributed, or not. All teachers should be using this. Personally, I find it easier to follow than draftback.
Absolutely phenomenal tool for easily seeing data about a Google Doc. Must-have for any teacher who wants to ensure students are writing their own work, and seeing relative contributions from different authors. I adore this extension!! Only feature I would LOVE is to see the final version of a doc with color coding for authors, to see who wrote what specifically in an easier way.
This is HANDS DOWN the best tool for spotting original vs. plagiarized work. It's comprehensive and easy to use. I actually can't believe it's free... but as a busy and poor teacher, I'm very thankful for it. It also has incredible potential for student use: seeing their writing process at work, identifying where they personally spend more or less time in that process, tracking edits from themselves and others, checking pasting events to determine if enough of the paper comes from their own thoughts or if it's something that could just be read elsewhere, etc. I haven't dived into this potential yet, but I'm sure I will at some future point (as long as it continues to be free so I can afford to use it).
Excellent!!! Thank you for providing quality resources for educators. I would appreciate if later it might include a breakdown assessment in the report regarding the likelihood of this being the student's genuine work. This assessment could include indicators of low, medium, or high cognitive effort, along with references to support the outcomes and reasoning behind these probabilities given.
This is saving me as a teacher!
