This is my very favorite extension. Since getting a Kindle, I love the ability to get a book instantly from my local library (although some might call it "enabling"), but it's a bit of a hassle to go from discovering something I want to read Goodreads or Amazon to checking for it at my three local libraries (I, uh, might have a problem). This extension takes all the pain out of it. I love it so much that I have bullied ever member of my immediate family, plus my parents and sisters and three friends, into installing and configuring it. This is precisely the tool I need in my aggressive library-pushing arsenal, and as a bonus, I'm now getting texts on the regular that say things like, "You've saved me $30 so far this month." Thanks, Library Extension, for doing all the work and letting me get the credit.

This is a super helpful extension for anyone who has a library card at their local library, especially if you're a library lover and shop online. If you don't have a library card, dear gosh, you are missing out on some free services. I happen to work at a library (at the time of writing), so we all at the library love it. Just install the extension, choose your state, and find your local library system. If you can't find your library, ask your library staff for help. My library system happens to consist of multiple libraries, so this extension has the name of our HQ library rather than our branch, so look out for that if your library is a branch of a system. Another thing to look out for is if you are looking at a version of a book (say, a hardback copy) and you see your library doesn't have it, check another version (say, the paperback), as it can be specific to the version or edition of the book. I also love that you can connect your Hoopla account, which is pretty nice! Again, super helpful if you shop for books online!

I have saved so much money with this extension. I LOVE it. I am a reader and when I search for a book on Amazon, it tells me if my local library has it in print or ebook. It also tells me if I can get it on Hoopla which my local library subscribes to as well. It syncs well with the SCLD in Spokane and I can litterally click on a button and check out the book.

I love ebooks and if I can find them at the library so much the better! I love this extension because it looks up all my libraries at the same time to see if the book I want is available, all while searching for the book on Amazon, and it's so easy - I have my book in seconds. I absolutely love using it and once installed it is always there working for you!

This is very useful across a number of sites, it is useful to be able to see if my local libraries own the books I am looking for. Plus you can get to the library page quickly and hold the book if you want to. One of the most useful tools I've found!

I cannot recommend this browser extension highly enough! This is the perfect tool to help you better use your local library resources, save money and reduce book clutter. If you install this extension, it will automatically load when you open Amazon and let you know if that printed book, ebook, or audio book is in stock and quickly links you to your library web site so you can have it held for you at your local branch. I have bought several books from Amazon and later realized weren't something I needed to own, but for years forgot to make the best use of the library. This tool brilliantly reminds me to take books for a test drive first, and then I can decide if it is an item worthy of a permanent space in my bookcase. (And I can also look for a local bookstore to support along the way - Amazon gets *plenty* of my money.)

Great on several levels. First, I get to see if a book /i'm interested in is available at any of my county libraries. Second, I can see what people are reading and how long I would have to wait t get the book. Third, I can calculate how much money I could save by delaying my gratification. This is great tool.
