- Catastrophic Main Thread Blocking on Chromium browsers (especially on Vivaldi browser) - This extension hooks into chrome.tabs.onUpdated way too aggressively without any proper throttling or debouncing. When interacting with heavy SPA sites like YouTube, OneTab completely chokes the event loop to scrape metadata. This introduces severe overhead (easily 100ms+ per state change) and causes 2-3 seconds of total browser UI freeze on browsers with JS-based interfaces like Vivaldi browser. Being on Manifest V3 doesn't excuse lazy event handling. Please fix your background script logic and implement proper debouncing before touching the DOM.

THIS JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER AND BETTER. History is a list of all things you visit. One-Tab is a journey into the important, the inspiring, the selective and the diary of what you wanted to keep open for your next few rabbit holes, but your RAM just couldn't handle the bulk. I don't think I could have functioned with out One-Tab, and Raindrop.io (hint hint) to help me choose how to keep for the long haul or share to the public or make into a consolidated source of my most important, revisited long time favorites that kept getting lost in the pile of the present tabs. the COMING SOON features for SYNCING across browsers and devices is going to be a game changer in how my daily work flow. It just updated, and ALL the bookmarks inside the extension suddenly disappeared. And please, don't give excuses like “third-party cleaning software”... because I don't even use that software, and this happened while I was using the browser...This is one of those blunders, like when Microsoft releases a Windows update that causes errors.

I love this Chrome extension. I think adding everything to bookmarks is kind of dumb sometimes - this makes it easy to save everything into a list that might just disappear into the ether. Keep your bookmarks usable and get this extension!

Is there a site for OneTab releases? It would be nice to know what changes went in to each release. Closed source projects have limited visibility. Great addon though!

A missing feature: having a few OneTab tabs open, each with a different folder as the root and with the tab title as the folder title. Use-case: I have a few OneTab folders with read-later items by topics. I'd like to see that topics in my vertical tab-bar, just to remember to read them. Otherwise I often forget to open OneTab tab to see the topics and read what's important. When I can see them as tabs, I can easily spot what there is to read. Now I can only publish the links, but the published webpage is a static snapshot. I'd like to get a URL link (can be local) to any OneTab folder so I can have separate tabs with the linked folders only inside.

As someone who has like 40 tabs open at all times, this extension has a permanent space in my browser. It is simple to use, no setup required and user friendly. Only drawback is, I can't have it in my phone too.
