False advertising throughout this app. Others are much better. 5000 reveiwers here should use another app. 1) this doesn't save 95% of your memory. That's a lie. It saves ZERO and actually uses memory to simply write the name/url of tabs which YOU close, as you always could while bookmarking them (or bookmark all). In fact it uses MORE memory than similar apps with more and better features. 2) asks for ALL your data on ALL your websites. Why when not needed? I don't know mr onetab. Again, similar ext are better and ONLY ask to manage bookmarks and themes, not ALL YOUR DATA. This app has had no significant code changes or improvements made in 1-2 years. 3) has a very clunky right-click UI. Name several groups and then wander through the gigantic folder tree mess, left and right to MANUALLY close tabs. VERY little difference between this and the built in bookmark/bookmark all, or close functions and History. 4) falsely advertises again for years a non-exitant import/export function. There is no such thing. It doesn't export a thing, nor does it import a thing. All it does is opens a form field where YOU can manually cut and paste. Stop lying to people here. Other apps are much better. I'm not associated with any ext but here are just 2 great ones in no order, of many that are much better than this one. And honest. And updated regularly. i) Tabli is one of the great ones and similar to onetab but much easier to use as it saves all your tabs in their proper windows automatically. And you can click to save the window or easily organize within/between windows now or later. And then auto syncs via bookamrs where you can always access them if you want. Awesome. Plus doesn't want ALL your data, or lie to you. 3000 people should change right now :) ii) The Great Suspender is another great one which also automatically saves tabs in their windows and DOES help you save memory by closing the page data on a timer you set (or leave at 10-2 min). Click to reload. Excellent for low memory or tab maniacs. Doesn't have a clear list or auto sync like tabli but doesn't lie like OneTab - it actually does export a text file for you. Another 3000 people should change right now :) And there's another 10 good ones probably all better than onetab. OneTab needs to stop lying about features or google should enforce it. And if it adds significant features then people should use it again, but not now when clearly worse and dishonest. If any factual errors in my review I'd be more than happy to correct them.

This is such a snappy little extension, it's difficult to describe its ingenuity. Suffice to say, within two hours of adding it onto Chrome I can't imagine browsing without it. OneTab addresses the "tab hoarding" logic of serious multi-tab users: you're saving the tab for LATER, like a squirrel hoarding nuts for the winter... but you're also sapping your system's oomph. OneTab tucks those extraneous, "on hold" tabs tidily away, into a neat, chronological list, and lets you pop them back into action just as quickly. The chronological, time-stream-like function is what makes this extension not only good but excellent for me. I have diurnal browsing habits: I'll browse some topic before lunch, do something completely different after that well into the evening, and spend my nights on elaborate wiki walks, doing rambling in-depth research with a side of social media binges. Instead of keeping the whole circus open at the same time, I can focus on one attraction at the time with this fantastic little extension! OneTab lets me put those different phases neatly away as though on a shelf. and I can clear different sets of tabs and reopen others very conveniently indeed.
