Whenever you find yourself with too many tabs, click the OneTab icon to convert all of your tabs into a list. When you need to access the tabs again, you can either restore them individually or all at once.
When your tabs are in the OneTab list, you will save up to 95% of memory because you will have reduced the number of tabs open in your web browser.
Privacy assurance
OneTab is designed for privacy. Your tab URLs are never transmitted or disclosed to either the OneTab developers or any other party, and icons for tab URL domains are generated by Google. The only exception to this is if you intentionally click on our 'share as a web page' feature that allows you to upload your list of tabs into a web page in order to share them with others. Tabs are never shared unless you specifically use the 'share as a web page' feature.
Additional Benefits
Storing tabs in OneTab can also speed up your computer by reducing the CPU load and memory (RAM) usage of your browser. Even a high-end computer can become sluggish when many browser windows are open, because each open browser window may constantly consume resources.

The best browsing companion for tab-addicts. You would never need a bookmarking app ever if this extension also allowed tagging and optional text notes per URL. But perhaps that would also consume some extra memory and move them away from their original USP; would be a nice to have feature if it doesn't inflate the memory footprint though. However, I would like to emphasise, OneTab is super-awesome as it is. --- update 2026-02: Just woke up to an updated extension in Chrome and was overjoyed to see my wishes have been granted.

Normalmente acostumbro trabajar con numerosas pestañas abiertas a la vez, para continuar mi trabajo donde lo dejé al día siguiente, sin embargo esta forma de trabajo consume muchísima memoria, con esta extensión puedo reducir drásticamente el uso de la memoria en pestañas que no estoy utilizando y puedo liberar recursos que pueden ser utilizados en otras aplicaciones.

Finally freed me from the huge tab categories I left hanging in the background as I moved through separate projects. It is also much easier to go back and access them than in Evernote. After the research is done, I can submit the OneTab URL to an Evernote file for records and long term storage.
I LOVE this extension. the ONLY thing I'd add would be the ability to search for specific tabs. I sometimes have more than 100 tabs in a list... takes a LONG time to locate some of them It's FABULOUS being able to pull all tabs into a url
Расширение, которое примирило меня - старого поклонника старой Opera - 12.17 c Google Chrome. Замечательно ко всему прочему тем, что не требует к себе внимания: работа не превращается в наведение порядка во вкладках, но в то же время искомая вкладка легко находится в нескольких последних сессиях. Удачный пример реализации упорядочения рабочего пространства методом ограниченного хаоса Глеба Архангельского. Поэтому я против усложнения этого расширения. Единственное, это было бы неплохо иметь возможность облачной синхронизации. К слову, мне кажется, что вернее было бы называть это расширение не менеджером вкладок, а исключительно удобным менеджером сессий. Куда как удобнее, чем Session Buddy
