Whenever you find yourself with too many tabs, click the OneTab icon to convert all of your tabs into a list. When you need to access the tabs again, you can either restore them individually or all at once.

When your tabs are in the OneTab list, you will save up to 95% of memory because you will have reduced the number of tabs open in your web browser.

Privacy assurance

OneTab is designed for privacy. Your tab URLs are never transmitted or disclosed to either the OneTab developers or any other party, and icons for tab URL domains are generated by Google. The only exception to this is if you intentionally click on our 'share as a web page' feature that allows you to upload your list of tabs into a web page in order to share them with others. Tabs are never shared unless you specifically use the 'share as a web page' feature.

Additional Benefits

Storing tabs in OneTab can also speed up your computer by reducing the CPU load and memory (RAM) usage of your browser. Even a high-end computer can become sluggish when many browser windows are open, because each open browser window may constantly consume resources.

***** Every browser should have this feature. Fortunately though, for us, the OneTab team has made this excellent extension. Now I can consolidate all my tabs, free up memory and other resources, and focus on one group of tasks at a time and come back to the others at my convenience :D

My job and life require a lot of research, which translates into many webpages for different topics. Instead of bookmarking them all into a folder that can become tedious for maintenance and clean-up, OneTab allows me to put certain topics on-hold to give my cpu a reprieve and restore them with just one click. I have used it for months now without a single problem. Must have!

Has to be my most used extension and definitely one of my favorites. Its great not having all those open tabs staring me in the face while i'm online which is distraction, and my browser runs a lot faster as well. And I don't have to overflow my bookmarks bar with a bunch of unnecessary webpages that i'm going to delete soon. I love that I can star and lock tab groups and that I can send tabs directly to a specific group. I didn't realize those feature were available until I today.

The default OneTab functionality (press the button and it saves the tab group) is definitely by itself already useful. But once you play around with the settings it also becomes an extremely convenient way reorganize your workflow and manage useful webpages! Definitely deserves five stars.

Very handy when researching multiple topics as I can save links in different groups. Extra nice I can drag/drop to rearrange. One suggestion: Can the tab groups be made collapsible so that just the title shows?

I rated 5 stars, but would prefer 4.5 stars. Always room for improvement. It IS rather elegant. Very much in contrast to Chrome's ackward handling of bookmarks. I would give 6-7 stars if a search and tagging facility was added ;)
