Whenever you find yourself with too many tabs, click the OneTab icon to convert all of your tabs into a list. When you need to access the tabs again, you can either restore them individually or all at once.
When your tabs are in the OneTab list, you will save up to 95% of memory because you will have reduced the number of tabs open in your web browser.
Privacy assurance
OneTab is designed for privacy. Your tab URLs are never transmitted or disclosed to either the OneTab developers or any other party, and icons for tab URL domains are generated by Google. The only exception to this is if you intentionally click on our 'share as a web page' feature that allows you to upload your list of tabs into a web page in order to share them with others. Tabs are never shared unless you specifically use the 'share as a web page' feature.
Additional Benefits
Storing tabs in OneTab can also speed up your computer by reducing the CPU load and memory (RAM) usage of your browser. Even a high-end computer can become sluggish when many browser windows are open, because each open browser window may constantly consume resources.

THE missing functionnality of Chrome !
Awesome and robust. 4-thousand tabs and counting. Edit on 041016-make that 14 thousand now! That's about the limit as response time is being hampered. Paring it down now. edit:04162024-OneTab has worked flawlessly for nearly 10 years (still) on a Win10 Tablet. Besides The Developers, I assume, clearing out all my 18,000? tabs when it went unused for 2-3 yrs (which was cool, btw bc I changed my work focus) there's been zero issues for a decade. That's some solid programming.
Sweet. Chrome was bogging my system down to the point that i had to disable hardware acceleration dependencies. However with the installation of this plugin afterwards i could see a significant drop in systems resource consumption. A well deserved 5! Thank you and I hope you keep it light and not bloat it with unnecessary feature.
Great tool to keep browsing fast!!
It's the perfect solution for power users with a serious tab problem; it can be used as an alternative to bookmarking. It allows you to quickly close everything down to later on continue without a problem. I no longer have a tab problem, but I do have 1749 links on OneTab. I would love for OneTab to be synced across devices!

Great tool for another 'serial tabber' like John Grow.
crashes constantly and hangs the system in chrome 37
simply works. reduced memory usage by 2.5gb instantly. Tried few other tab managing ext before onetab and don't like or don't work. I wish OneTab will support cross device sync soon.
