Whenever you find yourself with too many tabs, click the OneTab icon to convert all of your tabs into a list. When you need to access the tabs again, you can either restore them individually or all at once.
When your tabs are in the OneTab list, you will save up to 95% of memory because you will have reduced the number of tabs open in your web browser.
Privacy assurance
OneTab is designed for privacy. Your tab URLs are never transmitted or disclosed to either the OneTab developers or any other party, and icons for tab URL domains are generated by Google. The only exception to this is if you intentionally click on our 'share as a web page' feature that allows you to upload your list of tabs into a web page in order to share them with others. Tabs are never shared unless you specifically use the 'share as a web page' feature.
Additional Benefits
Storing tabs in OneTab can also speed up your computer by reducing the CPU load and memory (RAM) usage of your browser. Even a high-end computer can become sluggish when many browser windows are open, because each open browser window may constantly consume resources.

Same as Toby, but not on the new tab. Organize your browser tabs and access them quickly anywhere.
So helpful! Love being able to save groups of tabs I would like to recall during my research sessions.
Molto utile quando si usano tante tab e fare il punto della situazione e alleggerire Chrome.
saved me a lot of times at critical times...just frees up memory in a click
Jeśli pracujesz z dużą ilością tabs'ów i/lub masz problemy z niedoborem pamięci w kompie, to jest to wręcz obowiązkowa wtyczka...
Really well designed, very intuitive and it works!
USED to be "A++++," but now rate "FFFFFFFFFFFF!!." Do NOT rely on this extension to keep your tabs safe! You should know that: 1. Despite the multiple reassurances on the Developer page, like this one... "Don't worry about closing OneTab - you will not lose your stored tabs. Even if you close all tabs and exit your web browser and restart your computer, the tabs you have stored in OneTab will not be lost," the developer neglects to inform you that in order to keep tabs from vanishing, you have to "lock" the tab group. 2. Developer is completely UNRESPONSIVE to repeated requests for support after losing thousands of tabs. 3. Finally, there appears to be a limit to the number of tabs the app will keep. After a certain date, none of my current tabs were added to the list after I clicked the icon.
This is one of the best extensions I have used. Period. Its simple, its intuitive (a word often used, but not actually applicable), and "just works". Saves memory on my machine and actually allows to me see and manage "virtual tabs" in a meaningful way (named groups, drag-and-drop, export URLs etc). Highly recommended!
Very useful!!
I'd give OneTab 5 stars if the tabs could be stored in the 'cloud.' This would allow me to move between devices and retrieve saved instances of OneTab from other machines/devices.
When the extension works the way WE think it does, i'll re-install it. To be specific; We are led to believe (from the 'OVERVIEW' and 'DETAILS' tabs, on the Chrome Web Store,) that it magically keeps your tabs 'alive' but in an efficient, memory and processor optimised way. IT DOESN'T. Now, I don't mind if it's actually a really pretty 'bookmarking' extension - saving the URL of each tab and making it really easy to return to, but surely the app could be re-coded to do the following: 1. Examine any and all text fields on the page and store the field names and their current contents along with the tab's details. Reloading such a tab would then involve waiting for the page to fully load and tab-completing it for the user. (A warning could also be presented, before saving, advising the site may not allow a direct return to that specific page, as secure https sites and non-secure multi-page forms will probably re-direct or 404.) 2. Examine the URL history for the tab being managed, and store that history with it. (This is probably easy to store, but not so easy to restore as i'm sure the Chrome API will not allow the history to be 'artificially' re-created. Maybe a button could be added to restored tabs that looks and behaves the same as the right-clicked BACK arrow currently does...) To be honest, number 2 is far more important, and if storing a tab loses its history I cannot, in fairness, recommend this extension. EDIT: The developer could also, of course, just be honest in the descriptions and say that the extension merely bookmarks the tabs in a pretty list AND THEN COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY CLOSES THE TAB. Of course it's using less memory and processor... THE TAB IS NO MORE, IT IS DECEASED, IT IS PINING FOR THE FJORDS...
