Whenever you find yourself with too many tabs, click the OneTab icon to convert all of your tabs into a list. When you need to access the tabs again, you can either restore them individually or all at once.

When your tabs are in the OneTab list, you will save up to 95% of memory because you will have reduced the number of tabs open in your web browser.

Privacy assurance

OneTab is designed for privacy. Your tab URLs are never transmitted or disclosed to either the OneTab developers or any other party, and icons for tab URL domains are generated by Google. The only exception to this is if you intentionally click on our 'share as a web page' feature that allows you to upload your list of tabs into a web page in order to share them with others. Tabs are never shared unless you specifically use the 'share as a web page' feature.

Additional Benefits

Storing tabs in OneTab can also speed up your computer by reducing the CPU load and memory (RAM) usage of your browser. Even a high-end computer can become sluggish when many browser windows are open, because each open browser window may constantly consume resources.

It's ok, but it's not very convenient, having to close all the open tabs in order to read their titles. Being able to selectively close or hibernate tabs in a tree seems better. (What I prefer is a sidebar tree like TreeStyleTabs for Firefox, so I'll probably go with Sidewise Tree Style Tabs or Tabs Outliner, both of which seem very similar to that FF plugin but, alas, do not actually replace the tab markers along the top. A Chrome limitation?)

I love OneTab. I cannot stand having a bunch of tabs open at the same time but im usually looking through many sites or different pages on a site. Its awesome to be able to close all of the tabs but have them saved in a group to go to when I need them!

4 stars! One of the best extensions, if not the best. When it has cloud sync and simpler group creation (something like when right clicking and choosing the group, also having a new group option), I'll give 5 stars.

Wonderful. If you have ADD / ADHD / Attention Deficit Disorder and open way too many tabs and use up all of your RAM, you NEED this extension!
