Whenever you find yourself with too many tabs, click the OneTab icon to convert all of your tabs into a list. When you need to access the tabs again, you can either restore them individually or all at once.
When your tabs are in the OneTab list, you will save up to 95% of memory because you will have reduced the number of tabs open in your web browser.
Privacy assurance
OneTab is designed for privacy. Your tab URLs are never transmitted or disclosed to either the OneTab developers or any other party, and icons for tab URL domains are generated by Google. The only exception to this is if you intentionally click on our 'share as a web page' feature that allows you to upload your list of tabs into a web page in order to share them with others. Tabs are never shared unless you specifically use the 'share as a web page' feature.
Additional Benefits
Storing tabs in OneTab can also speed up your computer by reducing the CPU load and memory (RAM) usage of your browser. Even a high-end computer can become sluggish when many browser windows are open, because each open browser window may constantly consume resources.

Fantastic and with the recent new features, even better. The only other feature I would like is to be able to convert the tabs to Google bookmarks, singly and as a group. Syncing would be nice but is unnecessary as the feature of posting OneTab as a webpage (making them accessible anywhere) is great. I just wish the urls would be something memorable though.

Awesome! This is exactly what I needed to release the resources being hogged by tab addiction. Now I can increase the performance of my machine again and not lose the 25+ tabs I used to regularly keep open all of the time.
Powerful solution. I've tried numerous other ways to manage my obsessive opening of new tabs. None were ultimately successful, like OneTab is. Sometimes you just need to instantly get everything out of the way so you can focus on something. OneTab does it brilliantly.
I love this, but I really wish it synched across my browsers.
For anyone who is a tab hoarder, this is a must have extension. No longer do you have to open up all your tabs taking up your bandwidth, memory and time every time you open your browser. Keep them in One Tab and recall them when you need them. Great for people who do research on multiple topics and want to keep the tabs for later without forgetting them into an already massive Bookmark list. The May 2013 update has made this extension even better with named groups, options for pinned tabs, and a right click menu that lets you add links and tabs to the one tab list without visiting the web page. Now all we need is an option to sync the One Tab list across multiple machines and/or compatibility with Xmarks.
