- This is a native desktop integration extension for KDE Plasma that communicates with a local native messaging host (plasma-browser-integration package). It does not implement any login UI, authentication flow, or require any user account. The extension uses nativeMessaging to connect to a local system service, not to any remote account-based service.
Could be just me, but it would be great if the previous/next media buttons worked with youtube. For me it's only the play/pause button that works.
Works perfectly well, in integrates so good and with the kde connect in android it is a whole perfect system
Genial!
Works, although there is some kind of instability. There are moments where it stops working on Chromium, not sure why. Also on Firefox it flashes its own tab for a second after program start which is irritating, so the project has some issues but it's very promising and adds lot to Plasma. Most important fun thing is: it extends KDE Connect media control so playing YT vids get paused on call which is awesome. We have also control over browser's media via panel media icon. Searches also work, although this feature is rarely used. EDIT: Thanks Kai, flashing has indeed been fixed and kde bugzilla indeed has the plasma integration part. Now it's all great!
Who needs a modern music player when you can use youtube music playlists with media keys now? :P
