Bookmarks Organizer helps in keeping the bookmarks sorted. It monitors for newly added or moved bookmarks and auto arranges them in ascending order by title. There is a reorder button to manually order the whole bookmark, which can be used initially after installation or import.
Only bookmarks in the Bookmarks Bar are sorted. If you want to have a custom order, those bookmarks can be placed inside the Other Bookmarks.
Limitations: There are max write limits set by the browser so that the sync servers are not abused. So only a certain number of move operations can be performed per session in a given interval of time.

Bookmarks Resorting is very very quickly. And most importantly, the resort is automatic when the new bookmark is added.
Stürzt ab und schein laut Chrome-Taskmanager ein Speicherleck zu haben. Schade, denn die Funktionalität werde ich vermissen.
this one is ok but only organizes the top level of folders beyond that no reordering by title is possible. I'm still looking for an extention that will sort by title on all levels of folders and links
I didn't know how and could not find how to organize all my bookmarks that were imported years ago from Firefox and even some that have recently been added to Chrome. This is THE perfect bookmark organizer for Chrome that works seamlessly with the Chrome's Bookmarks from the Main Menu and with the Simple Bookmarks extension. Now all my folders and their bookmarks, along with regular added bookmarks, are in alphabetic order.
I like it. Ugly icon.
A total useless piece of crap. After adding and wadding through error episodes and half way through it displays a message.. "maximum write operations for the API exceeded. Try later. A waste of a whole morning and into the afternoon. Maybe I should try and.... Oh cannot say that here... Hope one day to come face to face with whomever developed this...

I tried this and one other well recieved bookmarks organiser and this one blew the other one away. This does exactly as advertised. Thank you to the developers and keep up the good work!
