To make it work well it must enabled in incognito otherwise it's easily hackable, you can simply open chrome as a incognito window, click on cancel when asked for password, then open a normal window.

Wont even keep a toddler out... The very first test I tried to bypass the password works every time: Just switch to another profile (without extension), then switch back to the "PW protected" profile and it wont ask for a password! If you cant switch profiles, just close chrome and restart directly into the unprotected profile (via profile's desktop link) then switch to the protected profile without any password prompt. It isn't this developers fault that Google refuses to allow the most basic protections for Chrome, despite it being the #1 target of hackers who easily get your private passwords, accounts, ID, credit cards, history, settings, email, photos, cloud files and everything else from Chrome's TOTALLY OPEN & UNSECURED databases! It happened to me! That said, this extension claims to offer protection and that's no joke. It's a downright LIE!

Bugger, ne fonctionne pas correctement. Code visible de tout le monde. Empeche l'utilisation de chrome si aucun code n'est rentrer. Empeche de lancer chrome si on ferme le pop up aprés installation. Redémare chrome sans rien demandé. Bref a évité a tout prix !

i thought this was secure. simple bypass. 1. open browser with other account 2. open your account 3.when promted for password minimize and go back to secondary logged in account 4. open account again and no password gets promted :(

If you press cancel on the password dialog and open again, the password is remowed. Also password is in clear text. It just doesn't work.

Good and handy extension but you should hide the password with * or dots when being entered. Now anyone can read it when being entered......Fix it please
