AI Anywhere (formerly Ask My AI) fixes this. Press Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+E on any text and your AI pops up in a sidebar. That's it.

This is exactly what I have been looking for. I use Comet browser, and my only complaint with that browser is that there's no way to change the AI assistant in the sidebar. It only uses Perplexity's llm. This extension solves this for me and provides me with a list of all the llms that one could use
