I tried using this extension to extract text from the following image: https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=122183170058890233 Unfortunately, it mangled the text in a couple of difficult spots. So I've decided to uninstall this one, and go with another extension called Extract Text From Picture, which managed to extract the text flawlessly.
Have tried perhaps a dozen different converters, and this one is the best yet (bar one which I used for years and no longer works). This is easy to use and ideal for small fast jobs.
this feels really similar to text to image converter.
Does not extract text from an image on a web page in your browser, you have to download the image then upload it to this extension. No thanks.

This is actually free and gets the job done! It might take forever when screenshotting text to extract it from PDFs, but honestly, I am happy that this is free! Thank you so much!
