Search by Image is a browser extension that makes effortless reverse image searches possible, and comes with support for more than 30 search engines.

The extension helps journalists and researchers verify the authenticity of images, and assists in the identification of false information on social media. Search by Image is also popular among photographers, helping artists explore how their work is shared on the web, while shoppers find it valuable for discovering similar products at discounted prices.
The extension enables you to search for images from the context menu and the browser toolbar with the help of a diverse set of reverse image search engines, which can be toggled and reordered from the extension's options. Visit the wiki for the full list of supported search engines.

Images positioned at the selected area are detected regardless of how they were embedded in the page. The extension also supports searching with images from your device, images from private sites, and captured areas of the page.

Yeah y'all are goated for this one. Even works for local images once you enable URL's!
Absolutely love this extension but after the update it no longer functions or do anything at all! This extension helped me find some serious obscure images, but I guess it's time to learn Dally-E. I hope you fix this Dev man, bc this extension is awesome!!!
Great extension but where is the google lens option? It disappeared,

It's hard to give this app enough praise. To echo others in the review forum, "Google Lens" and now the "Search Image with Google" are absolutely pathetic. Google's forays into reverse image search, epitomized by the lackluster Google Lens and an archaic Google Images interface, feel like a quantum physicist failing at basic arithmetic. The experience is a digital cul-de-sac, often leading to recursive journeys that produce false positives more appropriate for a surrealist art gallery than having any practical utility for finding the images you need. The prioritization of low-quality images on Google Images in general is a 15+ year old design mistake that's never been fixed, it's like offering a drinking straw when one requests a telescope—a pitiful mismatch of supply and demand in the quest for clarity. In stark contrast, the Chrome extension "Search by Image" shines as an example of what a focused tool can achieve. The user experience is so fluid it's like shifting from a horse-drawn carriage to a Ferrari; navigating the interface feels like feasting on a Michelin-star meal after years of enduring fast food. It's effectively the Hubble Telescope to Google's child's binoculars. Where Google miserably fails, "Search by Image" steps in to fill the vacuum, becoming an oasis in a barren desert of so much unnecessary wasted time.
This is a great program, and I regret not discovering it earlier.
