Search by Image is a browser extension that makes effortless reverse image searches possible, and comes with support for more than 30 search engines.

The extension helps journalists and researchers verify the authenticity of images, and assists in the identification of false information on social media. Search by Image is also popular among photographers, helping artists explore how their work is shared on the web, while shoppers find it valuable for discovering similar products at discounted prices.
The extension enables you to search for images from the context menu and the browser toolbar with the help of a diverse set of reverse image search engines, which can be toggled and reordered from the extension's options. Visit the wiki for the full list of supported search engines.

Images positioned at the selected area are detected regardless of how they were embedded in the page. The extension also supports searching with images from your device, images from private sites, and captured areas of the page.

Last few days I've been getting "Search by image is unavailable. Please try again in a few hours" when I search in Google. Edit - reinstalled in 2024, and still nothing works in Google. I get "Your search did not match any documents." no matter what image I try it with. Time to fully ditch it.

Simplemente la mejor extensión en su tipo, supera a la de TinEye por incluir más buscadores, incluso muchas que ni conocía de su existencia. Lo único que sugiero es que mejore su compatibilidad con Enhanced Image Viewer (https://tinyurl.com/y8paejjc), porque a veces al momento de buscar al hacer clic derecho en la imagen en una pestaña a parte no funciona.

Единственное на данный момент расширение которое ищет по гугл после их изменений, все другие расширения перестали искать по гугл
Love this add-on but recently the yandex search just opens the image in a new tab.

Thank you so much! Google Lens doesn't do anything that I want to do. Sometimes it is useful but most of the time I'm looking for a higher resolution of an image. I feel like what I want to do is bad or something and being punished for it. I'm just trying to find the images that I want. Someone posts a thumbnail or lower quality image that I like? I want to find a bigger picture! Simple. Or I want to find the source of a comic or something else I saw. Now people are being cheated out of a good feature because they have to take an extra step to get to it. I wish changes to good things like this would stop, even YouTube has done this with removing the dislike button and I just don't understand why things can't just be left alone.
По справедливости этому расширению нужно было бы влепить 1 звезду из 5, так как из 8 сайтов изображения обрабатывают только 4 (50%). Но подкупает то единственное обстоятельство, что расширение «страшно» экономит время, если бы без него поиск изображений пришлось осуществлять вручную. И только по этому я ставлю 3 звезды из 5.
Tried to find this picture that came up on my lock screen/bing site. This is the only extension that worked. TY *Here is the picture I was searching for btw( Kameiwa Cave in Shimizu Keiryu Park, Kimitsu, Japan )
