I have the problem that all the images that I download with the app appear in WEBP format instead of JPG or PNG, this start 2 days ago, first i think it was the website i enter but no on every website i tried to download a image i have the same result

I see a lot of posts here that might be referring to the wrong "Image Downloader" extension. There apparently was an extention by the same name that Bleeping Computer warned about a few years back, https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/psa-beware-the-image-downloader-chrome-adware-extension/ Also, they menion another one called Google Image Downloader, https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-google-image-downloader-chrome-extension I've used this extension for years and it has never caused any "image shrinking", service outages or any such issues. I'm not confident the posters above are talking about this software.

Chrome blocked it as it's now reporting that this extension will read and change all your data on websites you visit, yet the publisher still states that it will not collect or use your data, and having to scroll through past thumbnail sized images to get to the full size ones was a pain anyway. I'll give it a while to see if it gets fixed, but I'll be looking for something else from the look of it.

there should be that when a publication video or a history, the image that appears when starting the video can be downloaded from the video, like before

Today it just welcomed me with error saying it's got disabled because it requires read and change all my data on opened pages. I can understand a lot but this just smells like scam and all that mobile apps like "flashlight- requires access to your messages, contacts, storage and consent to send your data". Srsly.
