Mendeley Web Importer detects article identifiers on the page you are viewing and automatically retrieves metadata and PDF full texts (where available) for you to add to your library. You just need to be viewing an article or a list of references in the browser and click on the Mendeley Web Importer extension icon in the toolbar.
You'll need a Mendeley account to save, read and cite the articles you import. To sign up and receive 2GB free storage space, visit https://www.mendeley.com

It's good when it actually works but it doesn't work so.... For me, it takes too long to load, sometimes doesn't allow me to sign in/the pop up freezes, and when I do manage to sign in, it fails to add any references to my library. Completely unusable. Looks like I may have to switch back to EndNote...
It's great when it works, but it has become increasingly unreliable lately. The small popup keeps giving a 503: Bad Gateway error. On the one hand, perhaps the system is getting a lot of traffic because the end of the semester is coming up. On the other hand, the end of the semester is coming up and I don't think any of us want to lose the ability to access or add to our reference lists because the app and plugin keep malfunctioning.
tried several times but the mendeley web importer is not working
I've tried to 'remove' and 'add to Chrome' back then hoping it functions.. but this web importer still didn't works as well.. why now?
Doesnt work
It doesn't work on chrome on my mac, and is very slow in safari......its a roadblock to progress at this point
No funciona, indica problemas con servidor constantemente. borre todos los complementos y continua.
Really not functional at all anymore please fix asap.
I have spent so much time to use their system and at the end it will not open my inistitution portal, has inconsistant citation style. very disappointed at Mendeley services. I hope to see improvement in your system, many academic inistitutions invested in you and you simply let them down. disappointing.
Used to work properly in 2022 but this year it doesn't work properly. it's functional reliability has dropped to zero
