Mendeley Web Importer detects article identifiers on the page you are viewing and automatically retrieves metadata and PDF full texts (where available) for you to add to your library. You just need to be viewing an article or a list of references in the browser and click on the Mendeley Web Importer extension icon in the toolbar.
You'll need a Mendeley account to save, read and cite the articles you import. To sign up and receive 2GB free storage space, visit https://www.mendeley.com

He usado mendeley los últimos 5 años. En las dos últimas actualizaciones el software ha perdido rapidez y accesibilidad. Volviendo su uso tedioso y lento. Adicionalmente, la última actualización ha vuelto lento office Word. Por favor revisen dichos aspectos del programa. Existen problemas con la extención para Office el buscador no permite el ingreso de texto, la subida de archivo a mendeley manager se ha vuelto lenta, las modificaciones realizadas de las citas en office se vuelven a reconfigurar sin ningun aviso. Además, constantemente tanto en la extencuón de Office y mendeley importer hay que estar ingresando el correo y contraseña. No se mantiene abierto la cuenta. Finalmente, la extensión en Office se desintala constantemente. El uso de Mendeley se ha vuelto totalmente fustrante. Por favor revisen las fallas antes de publicar las nuevas actualizaciones. P D. He reinstalado las extensiones y Mendeley importer varias veces para solucionar los problemas, sim embargo no hay resultados, por tanto no es un problema de instalación.

This tool has been excellent in keeping my reference database in Mendeley and work with it for several publications and grants. But I now need your help! It was working fine until a couple of days. In my laptop and desktop I use it with Chromium under Linux Mint version 20. However in my laptop is not working anymore and my desktop it is. Both systems are up-to-date in their Linux Kernel updates and other systems, including Chromium. I have tried erasing Cache, then de-installing and installing again the plug-in and it is not working. When I activate the plug-in it is not even opening the interactive window, or if it does, then it does not seem to be able to connect with my account. Help?!
