Mendeley Web Importer detects article identifiers on the page you are viewing and automatically retrieves metadata and PDF full texts (where available) for you to add to your library. You just need to be viewing an article or a list of references in the browser and click on the Mendeley Web Importer extension icon in the toolbar.

You'll need a Mendeley account to save, read and cite the articles you import. To sign up and receive 2GB free storage space, visit https://www.mendeley.com

Really disappointed with how Mendeley has changed: I've used it for 10yrs + and am now regretfully having to swap manager. It never failed me- had quite a smooth process for importing papers and citing via Word. Now, albeit im using a Mac, neither plugin works nor does it sync. Despite my 10yrs+ using it and a sense of loyalty, I've a QIP to complete and need a reference manager that works. Sorry Mendely, you're no longer helpful Slan !

web importer is horrible. My Mendeley desktop isnt allowing me to choose the reference style that I want the references to be saved in. Mendeley was really good before, but now it is a hassle

so sorry to write this that web importer is not working. Its just a waste of time browsing it again and again.
