Mendeley Web Importer detects article identifiers on the page you are viewing and automatically retrieves metadata and PDF full texts (where available) for you to add to your library. You just need to be viewing an article or a list of references in the browser and click on the Mendeley Web Importer extension icon in the toolbar.
You'll need a Mendeley account to save, read and cite the articles you import. To sign up and receive 2GB free storage space, visit https://www.mendeley.com

Encontrei a solução dos casos acima onde fica pedindo login. Deverá abrir o Google Chrome > Configurações > Avançado > Configuração de conteúdo > Cookies > Em PERMITIR deverá clicar em ADICIONAR, preencher com www.mendeley.com e Adicionar. Por fim, deverá reiniciar o navegador.

My Mendeley Web Importer keep appearing the request to install and i was never made to login.

not working !!
Not helpful at all. The log in pop up is still broken and does not work on chrome. Could you please fix this issue ASAP. PS. I've already tried all your recommended solutions Uninstall/Install/Cach & cookie clearance.
No deja iniciar sesión en chrome, no funciona.
While it can be a little buggy, and you have to log in for each new session, it's really helpful for getting sources together and the auto download of PDFs is really useful. Hopefully the importer gets some work on it's usability, but for now it's a fair trade off.
