Mendeley Web Importer detects article identifiers on the page you are viewing and automatically retrieves metadata and PDF full texts (where available) for you to add to your library. You just need to be viewing an article or a list of references in the browser and click on the Mendeley Web Importer extension icon in the toolbar.
You'll need a Mendeley account to save, read and cite the articles you import. To sign up and receive 2GB free storage space, visit https://www.mendeley.com

it doesn't work
I appreciate how convenient it is to manage my references while writing using Mendeley, but the Google Chrome plugin is frustrating. It’s unresponsive and often keeps me stuck in a loop, making my experience with it quite unpleasant. I hope the team resolves this issue soon because I really like Mendeley and wish they would have kept the previous version and plugin.
La App Extensión no funciona bien en todos los sitios desde hace mucho tiempo, una veces si y otras no, según la web.
no funciona nada, ni la extensión en el navegador abre, ni para la bibliografía en word.
Está fatal, no agrega las referencias... a días de entregar el manuscrito final de la tesis :(

I love how easy it is to manage my references with Mendeley, but this Web Importer is trash. For over a year now, the extension doesn't open if you keep a webpage open for more than 10 seconds, so you have to reload the page. It signs in to Mendeley on every single webpage, and even if you click within the first 10 seconds, it is a gamble whether it will respond or not. How is this not fixed yet?
I used to be able to access Mendeley on my Safari browser. But now I can't. It doesn't open on my Safari and I can't even log in using my Safari browser. I then used Google Chrome which worked for a while and now either it doesn't open or my working page just freezes when I'm using it. Kindly work on this.
i find it very useful than others, i added in word, in crome ...
Can not sign in, so many bugs so trashy
