Mendeley Web Importer detects article identifiers on the page you are viewing and automatically retrieves metadata and PDF full texts (where available) for you to add to your library. You just need to be viewing an article or a list of references in the browser and click on the Mendeley Web Importer extension icon in the toolbar.

You'll need a Mendeley account to save, read and cite the articles you import. To sign up and receive 2GB free storage space, visit https://www.mendeley.com

Mendeley me gusta mucho pero la extension en Chrome falla muchisimo, la mayoria de las veces no se abre y hay que cerrar el navegador varias veces para conseguir que se abra la extensión, con lo que las búsquedas que tenias hechas y preparadas para incluir en la libreria, se pierden.

It's working properly as always and I'm fully satisfied as I have started working with Mendeley again after a long time. Just be patient while trying to activate the chrome extension. It takes time in the first installation, but thereafter you will find it great!

for someone who is facing issue, try reloading the page and as soon as it reloads click the extension, then it works.

Why on earth did they release the Mendeley Reference Manager, when the Desktop was working fine and did lots more. The Web importer used to work fine then. I am shocked that it does not work now!
