Rescroller allows you to customize the look and feel of the scrollbars on webpages within Google Chrome. Using the included settings, set the color, shadows, borders, etc. of each scrollbar element, or write custom CSS to style the scrollbars manually.

It seems like we're experiencing a fad where sites are becoming less usable for the sake of overdoing cool design -- let's not use any words, icons only, and then lets make the icons all as similar as possible, and now make them tiny so we can have lots of white space around them! Let's squish up the font too, so we can have lots of white space! Now let's make the scroll bars nearly invisible, and then super skinny so if you can spot them, you'll never be able to accurately click it! I love extensions like this that allow you to force webpages and browsers to display things in a way that prioritizes ease of use. And this one looks perfectly. I was able to even turn the scrollbar magenta to match the chrome theme I am using.

Love it! I was able to pick the colors I like and got my scrollbar arrows back (which had disappeared with the new version of Chrome).

Great extension my windows style has a dark theme to it and i was so disappointed when google changed the scroll bar to white as it ruined how i wanted to see things.

Unable to use online banking and other apps that require specific logins. Had to go back to windows 7 IE explorer to get work done. Whats up with google. Chrome just lost a user. Anybody know how to remove "Rescroller"

FINALLY!!! I can easily see my scrollbar again. I HATED it when some developer(s) at Google thought (s)he was improving chrome by making the the scrollbar harder to see with lower contrast and smaller width. If a developer at let's say GOOGLE, want to improve things ADD options for users to select, don't take any current ones away (Users get used to thing s and like them - quit intentionally messing them up). Rescroller added value THANK YOU!
