Been using FileCR for a while now, and gotta say, it's mostly solid. It's become one of my go-to spots when I need to grab software quickly. They usually have what I'm looking for, which saves a ton of time hunting around. The site itself is pretty straightforward, usually easy enough to navigate and find stuff. Downloads are generally fast, which is a big plus. The WebCRX extension they offer on the Chrome store is actually pretty useful too. It makes getting to the download links or checking for updates a bit smoother, kind of integrates the site's functionality right into the browser which is convenient if you use FileCR often. Definitely speeds things up compared to manually checking the site all the time. So why 4 stars instead of 5? Well, occasionally you hit a dead link or a download that's super slow for no reason. It's not all the time, but it happens often enough to be a little annoying when you're in a hurry. Also, like many sites of this type, you sometimes have to navigate through a few ad layers or pop-ups, which can be a bit of a drag, though the extension seems to help streamline things sometimes. Overall though, FileCR is a really valuable resource, and the extension adds some nice convenience. It's reliable most of the time and gets the job done. Definitely worth checking out, just gotta have a little patience sometimes. Solid 4 stars from me.
